Funding will be used to support the creation of permanently affordable rental housing and the development of shelters in Vermont.

Preservation Trust of Vermont

To make transformative one-time revitalization investments and provide capacity building assistance for 20 communities of 2,500 residents or fewer.

Champlain College

To provide students, faculty, and researchers with hands-on research and learning opportunities, such as the newly developing fields of the Internet of Things and bio-life sciences.

Let's Grow Kids

To establish a fund for the expansion of childcare facilities in various Vermont counties.

Vermont Department of Libraries

To provide resources to address repair and mitigation needs in small, rural public libraries that also serve as community meeting spaces and public facilities, with a focus on economically depressed areas.

Burlington Technical Center

Funding will support the construction of a new Burlington Aviation Tech Center facility to support a research and development student lab to educate and train the next generation of aviation technicians and advance electric aviation technology.

University of Vermont

Funding will establish the Institute for Rural Partnerships at the University of Vermont, in order to support federal, state, local and private partnerships to address existing and emerging challenges for rural America.
