General Services Administration

GSA has developed a plan to replace the Highgate Springs Land Port of Entry (LPOE) as the existing port is out of date and currently experiences significant wait times at peak travel periods due to its design. A new LPOE will increase U.S. national security, allow for quicker screening of travelers and will dedicate more space to commercial traffic.

Bennington Readiness Center

Funding will accelerate the planned reconstruction of Bennington Readiness Center providing additional readiness for the unit, facilities for the modern force, and use of the prior facility for local community.

Burlington Technical Center

Funding will support the construction of a new Burlington Aviation Tech Center facility to support a research and development student lab to educate and train the next generation of aviation technicians and advance electric aviation technology.

Preservation Trust of Vermont

To make transformative one-time revitalization investments and provide capacity building assistance for 20 communities of 2,500 residents or fewer.

Let's Grow Kids

To establish a fund for the expansion of childcare facilities in various Vermont counties.

Vermont Department of Libraries

To provide resources to address repair and mitigation needs in small, rural public libraries that also serve as community meeting spaces and public facilities, with a focus on economically depressed areas.

University of Vermont

Funding will establish the Institute for Rural Partnerships at the University of Vermont, in order to support federal, state, local and private partnerships to address existing and emerging challenges for rural America.

Vermont Department of Public Safety

To support the implementation of statewide regional emergency communications.

Vermont Center for Emerging Technologies (VCET)

Funding will support recovery and economic resiliency loans to support business development statewide to support emerging companies.

U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service

Funding will support U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (USFWS) acquisition of high priority lands in Vermont for addition to the four-state Silvio O. Conte National Fish and Wildlife Refuge, which encompasses the entire Connecticut River watershed.
