The Curators of the University of Missouri

Funding will be used for construction and research equipment for the NextGen Precision Health Institute, a state-of-the-art facility at the University of Missouri-Columbia that will be available to all University of Missouri System researchers. This facility will bring biomolecular, computational and engineering disciplines, veterinary, human medicine, and industry partners under one roof.

Missouri State University

The Ozarks Health and Life Science Center at Temple Hall at Missouri State University will house classrooms, labs, and offices to support STEM, health, and life sciences research and academic programs. Missouri State University’s enrollment in the sciences has grown from 1,000 to 2,400 since Temple Hall was constructed, including a doubling of the College of Natural and Applied Sciences’ graduate enrollment over the last 25 years. The Navigation and Ecosystem Sustainability Program (NESP) integrates the needs of both navigation infrastructure improvements and ecosystem restoration into a single, multi-purpose program. NESP addresses several key mission areas of the Corps’ Civil Works business lines: navigation, ecosystem restoration, and recreation.

Aviation Classification Repair Activity Depot

Construct an aircraft maintenance hangar addition that will provide for a safe working environment and provided adequate workspace that will allow for aircraft to be overhauled and maintained in a more orderly, methodical and efficient fashion allowing for increased production. Missouri Department of Transportation

The Chester Bridge, originally constructed in 1942, has two 11-foot lanes and carries 7,000 vehicles per day. It connects the cities of Chester, Illinois and Perryville, Missouri across the Mississippi River via Highway 51. The Missouri Department of Transportation has identified this project as a top need and estimates the unfunded need to be approximately $77,000,000 for Missouri's portion of the total project cost.

Missouri Coalition for Primary Health Care

Construction and equipment funds will be used to build a Center of Excellence that combines the work of the Primary Care Association and the Behavioral Health Council to serve as a training facility with the goal of enhancing the integration of care and improving access to medical, dental, behavioral health, substance use disorders / opioid use disorders services, and social supports at the local level.

Harry S. Truman Library and Museum

The Harry S. Truman Presidential Library and Museum proposes to transform its grounds into an important national heritage site and engaging resource for the local community by reimagining, repurposing, and reconfiguring the property surrounding the Truman Library.

Waynesville-St. Robert Regional Airport

The Waynesville-St. Robert Regional Airport is a joint-use airport located at Fort Leonard Wood, which facilitates regional commercial service between the Waynesville-St. Robert Regional Airport and St. Louis Lambert Airport. Funding will be used to construct a new commercial passenger terminal facility, a commercial aircraft parking apron, and a parking lot for passenger access.
