These billeting quarters at MCAS Yuma would help maintain unit integrity by avoiding either housing personnel in unsafe billets or housing them off base.

Basilone Road is the main North-South road on base connecting the northern, central and southern parts of Camp Pendleton and currently does not meet safety standards. This main corridor is the second most important road on Base with an average of over 10,000 vehicles in a 24 hour period of time.
