The Town of Huntington is requesting funding for the construction of new public sewer infrastructure to serve both the low/moderate income hamlet of Huntington Station and the Melville Employment Center. Local government partnerships have completed a feasibility study as well as allocated funds for engineering and this effort is critical to continuing a 9+ year public/private partnership revitalization effort.

Northeastern Ohio Regional Sewer District has identified $175,020,000 in sewer improvements the City of University Heights needs. The UH-08 Sewer Project represents what the city of University Heights views as the most critical $39,405,521 to be done first. The project will replace common trench and SSO systems within the UH-08 area.

Early results of an ongoing Reuse Master Plan study commissioned by the City of Fergus Falls indicate the most viable option to extend the life of the historic Kirkbride complex is to redevelop and retrofit the east and west wings as housing for a mix of market segments that are currently underserved in Fergus Falls and greater Otter Tail county, including market rate, affordable, low-income, Senior, Veteran, and supported housing.

The requested funding will be used for a capital improvement project at the Saratoga County Sewer District (SCSD) to increase the treatment capacity for high strength ammonia. Global Foundries, a semiconductor manufacturer in the County, is responsible for 75% of SCSD's influent ammonia loads, and with more stringent effluent limits being required by NYSDEC this upgrade is needed to ensure Global Foundries present and future viability.
