MARINE CORPS BASE HAWAII

Upgrades the water reclamation facility including a parallel treatment system. The upgraded facility will increase the volume of wastewater treated and produce higher quality of effluent water, and reducing potable water demands at the base.

The purpose of this project is to extend municipal sewer within the Village of Centerville, consistent with the Town of Barnstable’s Comprehensive Wastewater Management Plan (CWMP), in order to address nitrogen impairment in the Centerville River.

To replace 2,300 known lead services lines throughout the City of Elizabeth, improving health, safety, access and infrastructure.

Fort Shafter

This will be able to increase the quantity and quality of the drinking water to Fort Shafter and to keep up with rising demand at Fort Shafter. The current two wells date back to 1910 and are not sufficient to provide consistent water quantity and quality.
