Development of a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine program at the University of Maryland Eastern Shore

The Business Incubator at the UMES Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation, located at one of Maryland’s Historically Black College and Universities, will provide a historically underserved region with assistance to start, grow, and sustain small businesses. I request $350,000 in Congressionally Directed Spending to support the establishment of an Interdisciplinary Research Center at the University of Maryland Eastern Shore (UMES) that will serve as the academic hub for the University. The Center would support the research and learning environment for the Historically Black College and University (HBCU) faculty and graduate students in an effort to increase the graduation rates of graduate students and lead to increased research productivity and mai
