The Best Buddies in New York Inclusion Project will create more inclusive school communities in New York by removing barriers to meaningful social interactions between students with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their typical peers through one-to-one friendships, inclusive group activities, and leadership training. Funds will support 81 Best Buddies elementary, middle, and high school chapters which will involve a minimum of 1,800 students statewide.
