Providence Water is requesting $120,600,000 to replace approximately 26,800 private side (owned by homeowner) lead service line replacements. This work will reduce lead exposure via drinking water for an estimated 70,000 people. In turn, Providence Water will contribute approximately $50,500,000 in matching funds for public side (owned by Providence Water) lead service line replacements. The majority of this work will be conducted within disadvantaged communities.
