This request is for funding to replace the decking of the Chestnut Street Bridge in Dover. In addition, funding would be used to widen the sidewalk along the bridge in order to improve pedestrian use and allow for proper snow plowing. Smart signal technology will also be installed to control the crosswalk at the end of the bridge and improve safety for pedestrians.
