This project would ensure a safe and reliable operation for the largest aircraft operating at the airport. The cargo area expansion would allow light maintenance to occur indoors and allow loading and unloading operations to occur in a safe, warm environment. Pre-design for the project has already been completed with final design currently underway. The project will be let out for bid in November 2021 with a 2022 completion date.
