CSAH 12 is a major collector that connects to Trunk Highway 23 near Richmond on the south to Interstate 94 near New Munich on the north. It serves farm to market and commercial traffic as well as commuters and agricultural traffic. The proposed project includes a full reconstruction between CSAH 31 and CSAH 30 in the city of New Munich.
