The completion of this project will assist the City of Burlington in meeting the Iowa Department of Natural Resources Consent Order to separate combined sewers. The City of Burlington has funded a $5.5 million dollar sewer separation and road project, but had to leave adjoining work off of the project. The requested funds will allow the City of Burlington to complete additional sewer separation and road work.
