Ivy Tech Community College
This The Ivy Tech College Education Center would be a drop off day care for our students and the community but would also be a work and learn site for our Early Childhood Education Students \u2013 essentially an on-campus practicum for those students. This would be a valuable use of taxpayer funds because it will be providing a service to the community while training early childhood students. The Early Childhood Collaboration Center is a collaborative project to establish a high-quality, drop-in childcare center for parents attending Ivy Tech or the community. The project is designed to increase retention and completion rates for parent students and provide experience for students studying Early Childhood Education. Funding will support equipment and materials need for the center.
