Trinity Repertory Company
Trinity Repertory Company is the state theater of Rhode Island. It has committed to stewarding its historic landmark facility. However, it is currently limited in its ability to robustly serve and engage the public because of insufficient elevator service and access. This project would improve the physical accessibility of Trinity\u2019s historic facility by building a tower addition that will expand elevator access to every level of the facility and create more space for community use. The expansion of elevator service will unlock the use of spaces previously unavailable for hosting public events, and will ensure that Trinity can welcome all members of its community. This proposal is part of a larger project that will fully renovate the Chace Theater (located within the Lederer Theater Center) and restore the historic terracotta fa\xe7ade of the building.
