Cobb County DOT

Johnson Ferry Road is a major commuter route for jobs in the Perimeter area and downtown Atlanta. Congestion bottlenecks at the Shallowford Road intersection as well as the Roswell Road intersection. The congestion prevents jobs access between Marietta, Cumberland, Town Center and the North Fulton/GA 400 corridor. By improving the intersection and mitigating congestion in northeast Cobb County, the access to jobs to and from North Fulton and Cobb County residents and businesses improves economic development for the region and the State of Georgia. Additionally, the quality of life for area residents and economic benefits of area businesses are improved when congestion is relieved at the intersection.

Procurement pursuit intelligence

This project has been enacted. FFID maps funded projects to likely downstream procurement channels — including recipient portals, state and local systems, agency programs, and Grants.gov. SAM.gov is monitored, but many CPF/CDS-funded opportunities appear first through recipient or state/local procurement systems.
