The JAG Program provides states, tribes, and local governments with critical funding necessary to support a range of program areas including law enforcement, indigent defense, courts, crime prevention and education, technology improvement, and mental health programs.\nThe federal role here is build on local expertise to confront violence and help communities reduce violence and ensure access to justice.
