The outcome will include 4,253 housing units for both rental and homeownership uses inclusive of senior housing and an assisted living facility; medical school campus in association with Florida International University; student housing; a central park; charter school; civic center for the City of Sweetwater that will encompass a new City Hall, police headquarters, and community recreation center.\nThe housing component has already been started with an existing senior housing development, Lil' Abner 1 consisting of 87 units, and the under-construction of Lil' Abner 2 (244 units). Both are located on what were vacant tracts. To continue the development, process the owner/developer needs assistance in\n \nensuring that there are resources to support relocation of the mobile home park residents in a responsible and effective fashion.
