The Prevocational Workshop provides 80 individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities hands-on vocational training so they can gain skills and confidence that help them transition to more inclusive opportunities in the community when they are ready. Businesses in our community rely on the high quality packaging and assembly work that participants provide as they develop their work skills to move on to other employment opportunities.\nThe facility that houses this service is more than 90 years old and needs capital renovations to improve the health and safety of the participants, improve\nphysical site safety, benefit the environment by improving site energy efficiency, and allow participants to increase their job skill effectiveness and efficiency.
