Tooele County

This project seeks to make significant improvements to the Ibapah Road which has not seen repairs or improvements beyond patching since it was paved in 1975. The proposed project will resurface ten (10) miles of the 30-mile length of roadway in Utah, returning the roadway to a state of good repair. Additionally, guardrails will be installed at two deep drainage features to improve safety and faded or missing signs and roadway striping will be replaced, bringing the safety features of the roadway up to standard.\n\nThis project is a good use of taxpayer dollars because Ibapah Road is the only paved north-south route that connects the Confederated Tribes of the Goshute Reservation with West Wendover, Nevada, and Wendover, Utah. At 60 miles away, these small cities are the closest location for goods, services, employment, and schools. Currently, the Ibapah Road has extremely poor pavement quality. The road was originally paved in 1975 and has had only minor repairs, such as patching and chip seals, since then. distress cracking, or fatigue cracking, on the pavement surface is predominant. This project will improve travel times and decrease crash rates in the project area, improve safety for road and active transportations users; and upgrade roadway elements to meet current design standards.

Procurement pursuit intelligence

This project has been enacted. FFID maps funded projects to likely downstream procurement channels — including recipient portals, state and local systems, agency programs, and Grants.gov. SAM.gov is monitored, but many CPF/CDS-funded opportunities appear first through recipient or state/local procurement systems.
