The multi-functional pedestrian space planned for the 18th Street Pedestrian Mall will allow for an enhanced neighborhood and tourist experience with widened pedestrian spaces during the week while still having the capability to transform into a bustling entertainment venue on the weekends. This balances the need to keep the vibrant neighborhood feel while having a flexible event space for the adjacent businesses and event organizers. This project will allow the area to transform as the needs of the area change by the day, week, and years to come.
