Connecticut Center for Advanced Technology (CCAT)
Connecticut is in need of an updated state-of-the-art research & development facility that would be a shared resource and common asset for our state's manufacturing supply chains. Thousands of small and medium-sized manufacturing companies call Connecticut their home and are the lifeblood of the Connecticut economy employing over 160,000 individuals and contributing to over 10% of the state economy. Oftentimes, these organizations lack the resources to perform R&D and develop their workforce to remain competitive in the global economy. For two decades, CCAT has been dedicated to assisting the manufacturing ecosystem and broader industrial base with the development and adoption of innovative technology solutions that enhance global competitiveness while addressing economic security and career quality of the next-generation workforce. New facilities with state-of-the-art technologies and the space to deliver quality R&D and workforce development programs, will keep Connecticut manufacturers competitive and help prevent our companies from falling behind the technology curve.\r\n
