This project will increase the City's wastewater system treatment capacity and allow for growth and economic development. The City of Weirton has entered into a public-private partnership to redevelop over 1,000 acres of industrial land previously occupied by a local steel plant. This project will provide the water necessary to develop that land.

Eastern West Virginia Regional Airport Authority

The intent of this request is to extend Taxiway E to the ends of Runway 8-26 while also widening the pavement to 50 feet. This will make Taxiway E a full length parallel taxiway improving airfield safety. The project will also include tree and grub clearing along the air operations area (AOA) perimeter fence near taxiway echo.
